Song Joong-ki’s Parenting Gains Attention after Spotted with Baby Stroller and Wife

The various parenting moments of actor Song Joong-ki, who’s happily married with a child, have become a hot topic.

On June 18, Song Joong-ki was spotted walking down the street with his wife Katie Louise Saunders, pushing a baby stroller. This was reported by Chinese media.

In the released photos, Song Joong-ki is seen pushing a stroller in the Hannam-dong area of Seoul, dressed casually in a T-shirt, shorts, and a cap. Katie Louise Saunders, wearing a long dress and sunglasses, walks beside him. Despite their unadorned appearance, they look stylish.

Although the baby’s face is not shown, a glimpse of the baby’s feet elicited loving reactions. Additionally, previous parenting moments of Song Joong-ki also become the talk of town.

Particularly, in March, Song Joong-ki mentioned his son while appearing on a YouTube content, saying, “He’s just over 8 months old now.” Then, when asked how cute his son is, Song Joong-ki burst into laughter and said, “I’m going crazy.”

After three years post-divorce, in December 2022, Song Joong-ki was involved in dating rumors with British actress Katie. The following January, he directly acknowledged their relationship on his fan cafe, and simultaneously announced their marriage and pregnancy. Since then, Song Joong-ki has shown his loving side by being with his wife during the overseas location shooting for his movie “My Name Is Loh Kiwan” and the 74th Cannes Film Festival.

After welcoming his first son in June last year in Rome, Italy, Song Joong-ki expressed his joy at the premiere of “Hopeless”, saying, “As much as many people congratulated us, the baby is growing up healthy. As first-time parents, we didn’t realize how fast babies grow. It’s incredible. I think I need to be a good person.”

In an interview ahead of the release of “Hopeless”, the actor said, “I wanted to become a father quickly. Thankfully, it was a dream for both me and my wife. We’re both inexperienced in parenting, so we’re raising him together with enthusiasm. Now that our son is just over 100 days old, it still feels surreal. Whether I’m watching TV or reading the newspaper, I suddenly think, ‘Oh! I’m a dad.'”

In October last year, appearing on JTBC’s “Newsroom”, Song Joong-ki shared, “I hear a lot that ‘his lips look like mine.’ Eight out of ten people say that. So, I keep a close watch on his lips. Hearing that makes me feel good, amazed, and a bit surreal. ‘Am I really a dad?’, ‘Do I really have a son?’ It still feels surreal.”

When asked about his experience with parenting, he replied, “I think I’m doing well with my wife, bravely together. We’re doing it with enthusiasm, and it’s a very fulfilling experience. I feel extremely happy these days.”
