“Queen Of Tears” Episode 15 Rating Declined, Ending Scene Aroused Viewers’ Frustration
After airing episode 15, “Queen of Tears” has received more criticism rather than compliments due to its ending scene
Episode 15 of “Queen of Tears” released on the evening of April 27th was almost perfect until the ending scene. In particular, Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won) lost her memories after the surgery and doubted Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun) and even her family due to the lies of Yoon Eun-sung (Park Sung-hoon).
Without her memories, Hae-in still strangely cared for Hyun-woo and she kept following him to observe and take note of every move of him. These pleasant scenes soothed viewers’ feelings after such a dramatic episode 14.
Many people thought the main couple would reunite happily after Hyun-woo successfully cleared his charges and Hae-in regained her memories, the ending scenes disappointed everyone. On the way to see Hae-in again, Hyun-woo collapsed in the middle of the road after getting hit by Eun-sung’s car.
Although the drama will end after only one more episode, the main couple is still struggling and there are still so many unsolved problems. Many viewers on social media poured their anger in comments, such as “I was complimenting episode 15 for solving the issues quickly then the writer created another mess”, “It was such an emotional scene until the car crash happened and ruined the mood. They should let the couple have a romantic scene after Hae-in gets her memories back”, etc.
Others also reacted strongly, “Are you kidding me??? There’s only one episode left. Why are they creating more problems?”, “How can they solve all these issues in 2 episodes?”, “The ratings should have surpassed the No.1 drama after episode 13 but the writer kept disappointing viewers”, “I don’t think this drama can surpass ‘Crash Landing on You’”, etc.
In terms of ratings, “Queen of Tears” is still losing to “Crash Landing on You” as the rating of episode 15 declined a little to 21.056% from 21.625% in the previous broadcast. There’s only one more episode, will “Queen of Tears” be able to rebound and become the highest-rating drama on tvN?
