Kwon Eun-bi “Mother upset after ‘Waterbomb Goddess’ + Many malicious comments about appearance”

On the June 21st episode of KBS2’s “The Seasons – Zico’s Artist”, Kwon Eun-bi appeared as a guest.

Reflecting on her unexpected hit as the “Waterbomb Goddess” last year, Kwon Eun-bi said, “I didn’t expect it at all. It was my first solo event in Seoul, and I was very nervous due to the lack of experience. I’m grateful for all the love I received.“

Kwon Eun-bi mentioned that her parents’ reactions were the most memorable. She shared, “My father thought I was very professional. But my mother was affected by the negative comments and the fact that some people only focused on the external. She was upset by that but was also grateful for the love I received, so there were mixed feelings.“

Having debuted in 2014, Kwon Eun-bi is now in her 11th year in the industry. She debuted with girl group Ye-A, re-debuted with IZ*ONE, and is now active as a solo artist. Reflecting on her career, Kwon Eun-bi said, “You just have to endure. If you keep enduring, opportunities will eventually come. Whether you can seize those opportunities depends on your own abilities, but I’ve learned that opportunities do come.”

The next-generation summer queen Kwon Eun-bi shared her plans for this summer. She hinted at her diverse activities ahead, “I’ll be promoting my album, participating in festivals, and a movie will be released.“
