Kpop idols with the most Instagram followers: surpassing BTS and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Jennie is…

Kpop groups BLACKPINK and BTS have the highest cumulative number of followers. 

BLACKPINK Lisa was recently revealed to be the Kpop idols with the most Instagram followers. With the exception of BTS’s group account, individual accounts of all four BLACKPINK members took up the top 5, one after another.

According to Kpop Radar, a website that tracks SNS account data of Kpop stars, BLACKPINK Lisa’s Instagram profile currently has about 78 million followers, making her the most followed Kpop idol on this platform.

BLACKPINK Jennie came in 2nd place, with about 67 million Instagram followers. 

BTS’s group account, which records close to 64 million followers, landed in the 3rd position. This is followed by BLACKPINK Jisoo in 4th place with 60 million followers, BLACKPINK Rosé in 5th place with 59 million followers, and the BLACKPINK’s group account, which came in 6th place with almost 47 million followers. 

This ranking hasn’t changed since November of last year. There has been some slight fluctuation between Rosé and Jisoo’s position, but overall, BLACKPINK members always occupy spots in the top 5, proving their worldwide popularity. 

The 7th to 13th places were occupied by respective BTS members V, Jungkook, Jimin, J-Hope, Jin, Suga, and RM. 

Outside of BLACKPINK and BTS, ASTRO member and idol-actor Cha Eun Woo managed to secure the 14th position, with about 28 million followers on Instagram.
