Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun’s Controversy Made IU Eunhyuk, GD Lee Joo-yeon, Gong Hyo-jin Kevin Oh’s Past Rumors Re-examined

At around 1 a.m. on March 24, Kim Sae-ron posted a photo of her being face-to-face with Kim Soo-hyun on her Instagram story. The actress later deleted the photo after just three minutes but still couldn’t avoid Internet users’ eyes. A dating rumor between the two was immediately raised.

There are various speculations among Internet users, ranging from rumors that Kim Sae-ron posted it out of jealousy as the kiss scene of Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won was broadcast the day before in the drama “Queen of Tears.”

Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, denied the dating rumor and explained that the photo was taken when the two were still in the same agency in the past. “We don’t know Kim Sae-ron’s intention,” it added.

Other stars’ dating rumors related to social media posts were also dug up. In 2012, IU posted a photo of herself with Super Junior’s Eunhyuk in allegedly pajamas on Twitter (currently X) but deleted it immediately. IU made an appearance on SBS’ “Hwasin – Controller of the Heart” in 2013 and explained in a vague way, saying, “I uploaded it by mistake.”

In 2019, After School’s Lee Ju-yeon uploaded a short video with a man on her social media account and immediately deleted it. The faces in the video were covered with stickers, but it was easy to recognize the man was G-Dragon. In 2017, Lee Ju-yeon also used to post a video she took with G-Dragon and immediately deleted it.

Gong Hyo-jin admitted to dating her now-husband Kevin Oh by mistake. It was the day after she caught the bouquet at the wedding of her colleagues Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin. Previously, the actress accidentally disclosed her date on her social media account. Later, Gong announced her marriage to Kevin Oh in August 2022.
