Jin Reveals Feelings Ahead Of BTS FESTA, “I Haven’t Sung For A While, Please Understand If Performance Is Not Good Enough”

On June 12th, Jin turned on a live broadcast on the global fan communication platform Weverse Live, saying “I’m crying because I’m so happy. I didn’t want to cry but I already cried twice. I also shed tears when saying goodbye to my fellow soldiers”, expressing his feelings about being discharged from the military.

Earlier on the same day, Jin was officially discharged from the Army Infantry Division 5 in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do. All BTS members except for Suga attended the discharge ceremony and congratulated Jin.

Jin will attend the 2024 FESTA event, which will take place at Seoul Sports Complex tomorrow (June 13th). The event will be held by Jin in two parts. In the first section, Jin will carry out a free hug event for 1000 lucky fans. He will spend time communicating with more fans in the second part.

Regarding the two parts of the event, Jin said, “The preparation period is short so I couldn’t organize an event with better parts. I haven’t sung for one year and a half so I already forgot how to sing. Please understand if my performance is not good enough or if I make mistakes or cannot speak well enough. I will work hard”, raising fans’ expectations for the event.

Lastly, Jin said, “I will become Seok-jin who visits you guys more often from now on. Thank you and I love you all. I will express my feelings more tomorrow. I’ll also bring a camera to take pictures with everyone. I tried my best to take good care of myself before my discharge”, adding “I’ll come back tomorrow with a nice appearance”.
