Im Yoon-ah’s Genuine Journey as an Actress Unveiled in ‘Film Talk’

Singer and actress Im Yoon-ah, a member of Girls' Generation, retraced her career footsteps with her audience

On the 12th, her agency SM Entertainment announced, “‘Film Talk: Im Yoon-ah‘ will be available on VOD and the YouTube channel Btv starting today.” This immersive talk show is hosted by SK Broadband and SK Telecom.

Previously, Im Yoon-ah met with the audience in person to reflect on her filmography as an actress and share behind-the-scenes stories from her acting and filming experiences. She reviewed major scenes from her movies ‘Confidential Assignment,’ ‘Exit,’ ‘Miracle,’ and dramas ‘Hush’ and ‘King the Land’ with the audience, explaining in detail why she chose those projects and the preparation process she underwent.

Directors of the movies and dramas Im Yoon-ah appeared in left heartfelt messages for her, capturing attention. Director Kim Sung-hoon of ‘Confidential Assignment’ praised her by saying, “Yoon-ah is a pioneer. She has blazed trails that no one else has.” Director Lee Sang-geun of ‘Exit’ complimented her, saying, “Im Yoon-ah is a truly wonderful person. She is consistently remarkable both on and off camera.”

Additionally, Kang Hye-jung, CEO of the production company Outlaws, along with directors Choi Gyu-sik of ‘Hush,’ Lee Jang-hoon of ‘Miracle,’ and Im Hyun-wook of ‘King the Land,’ and actors Park Jung-min, Jo Jung-suk, Hwang Jung-min, and Kim Young-ok sent heartfelt letters that moved Im Yoon-ah.

Moreover, ‘Film Talk: Im Yoon-ah’ will be more accessible with subtitles and simultaneous sign language interpretation, allowing more people to enjoy it. Im Yoon-ah, who took time to learn and shoot sign language for her lines, drew attention by delivering her final greeting, “Thank you for coming today,” in sign language.

Finally, Im Yoon-ah expressed her feelings, saying, “This time to talk about the works I participated in was truly precious.
