On June 15th, the “Weverse Con” was held at Inspire Arena within Inspire Entertainment Resort in Incheon.
“Weverse Con” is part of the “2024 Weverse Con Festival”, a music festival organized by HYBE to create a space that transcends music genres and generations, offering new fan experiences.
The festival features tribute performances to legendary artists as well as stages by various artists from HYBE Labels.
On this day, girl group ILLIT (Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) kicked off the opening stage with their debut song “Magnetic”.
As they appeared, the audience welcomed ILLIT by singing along to the chorus.
ILLIT expressed, “It’s our first time performing at a festival since our debut. It was our dream to stand on stage, and it feels great to have achieved that.”
Due to her injury, member Wonhee performed while seated on a chair, and other ILLIT members approached her during the performance to incorporate her into the act.
Following this, ILLIT showcased “Midnight Fiction”, displaying their fairy-like visuals. After their stage, ILLIT said, “There are many amazing performances by senior artists prepared for this ‘Weverse Con’. Please look forward to it.”
