ILLIT’s Recording Video Draws Attention: A Member Even Broke Down in Tears?

The recording video of ILLIT, the controversial girl group from HYBE, has caught the attention of many Kpop fans.

Recently, ILLIT released a behind-the-scenes video of their first E.P recording, “Super Real Me.” As the hottest rookie group from HYBE, ILLIT has garnered fame and notoriety, facing allegations of copying senior girl group NewJeans and receiving criticism for their skills.

Thus, when the recording video was posted, many Kpop fans were extremely curious about the process of ILLIT and their music team creating the product.

Right from the start, fans were faced by the image of the youngest Japanese member, Iroha, with tears in her eyes. She cried because the recording process was too difficult, having to redo it repeatedly, even making the producer soften and comfort her.

Listening to it, the E.P “Super Real Me” and the hit “Magnetic” by ILLIT have youthful melodies with relatively simple vocal handling involving short, uncomplicated phrases. However, to capture the necessary spirit, ILLIT members had to follow the guidance of the music producer and vocal team. For these rookie girls, this was certainly a tough challenge.

Iroha was in tears due to struggling with the recording process.

The most noticed member is Moka. During the promotion of “Magnetic”, she was the most promising due to her fitting visual, stage presence, and positive energy. Moka quickly became the most popular member among international fans.

However, Moka ended up facing criticism over her live singing during encore stages. Her unsteady, shaky voice lacking proper training led to severe criticism.

Moka also somewhat struggled while recording her parts

The female idol had to practice on her own to improve pronunciation.

In the studio, Moka also struggled and seemed quite confused with her singing lines. Her thin, weak voice was processed in the final audio product. However, behind the scenes, it was easy to notice the rookie’s lack of confidence. Since she just debuted, Moka still has many opportunities to improve her skills. Fans hope that the Japanese idol will work harder on her training in the future.

Minju provided stable vocals.

Minju has a solid skill foundation and is praised by the music team.

The two members with the strongest abilities are Minju and the leader, Yunah. Minju is the group’s “vocal backbone.” It is likely that her innate singing talent and training at YG have provided Minju with a stable skill foundation. During the recording process, Minju and Yunah offered their opinions, helping the music team better understand the girls’ intentions.

Additionally, Wonhee, who had only one month of training, easily completed her recording parts. The idol is considered to fit well with ILLIT’s concept and musical direction.
