HYBE Forsake Min Hee-jin Once? Only Acted After NewJeans Support Min Hee-jin
An executive of HYBE claimed that HYBE initially did not take any action despite knowing about Min Hee-jin’s actions.
On April 23, an official from HYBE released a statement saying, “HYBE initially did not take any action despite executive Min Hee-jin’s attempts to meet with investors since the end of last year to seek independence with NewJeans. However, we decided to step up after the members and their parents started to support CEO Min. We were worried that another FIFTY FIFTY case will happen”.
On the other hand, it was reported that HYBE and Min Hee-jin’s conflict started from March, after an internal document compiled by ADOR’s vice-president and Min Hee-jin’s “right-hand” was discovered.
The document revealed goals such as “preventing HYBE from touching us” and “to escape completely”. Additionally, A was caught trying to take a large amount of confidential information regarding HYBE.
On the other hand, Min Hee-jin continues to refute all claims from HYBE, at the same time insisting that she has no plan to take over manager rights over ADOR from HYBE.
