How Wealthy is BTS’s j-hope After Acquiring Another Penthouse?
According to Ten Asia, on June 20, j-hope completed the purchase of an apartment in the After Hangang penthouse worth 8.6 million USD and paid in cash.
The apartment consists of 2 floors with a total area of 273.85 square meters. j-hope was assigned this apartment in 2020 and the idol completed the ownership transfer procedures on June 10. According to real estate experts, the price of an apartment in the After Hangang penthouse is around 12 billion KRW (nearly 8.6 million USD).
After Hangang is one of South Korea’s most luxurious residential areas, located next to Yongsan Park and overlooking the Han River. The building comprises 26 apartments ranging from 205.84 to 273.94 square meters, designed by the renowned architect Yoo Hyun Joon.
Previously, it was reported that j-hope had purchased 2 apartments in Trimage, Seongsudong, Seoul, which he still owns.
j-hope enlisted in April last year and is currently serving as an assistant instructor at the Training Center of the 36th Infantry Division. He is expected to complete his military service on October 17, 2024. His most recent appearance was with the other BTS members to welcome Jin’s discharge from the military.
Despite being in the military, j-hope’s new album topped the US Billboard charts. The special album “Hope on the Street Vol 1,” released on March 29, entered the Billboard 200 chart.
