On December 24th, Management Soop released a video through its official YouTube channel, capturing actor Gong Yoo getting emotional during an CF shoot.
In the video, Gong Yoo was seen acting out a scene at the shooting site for a coffee brand’s advertisement, lifting a large coffee capsule.
Before filming a new scene, Gong Yoo practiced his lines. When the director suggested delivering the lines as if talking to a girlfriend, Gong Yoo playfully teased, “Girlfriend, right?”
He then suggested, “How about delivering it like a dad talking to his daughter? Or an uncle talking to his niece and nephew?”
Later on, when filming a scene where he speaks to someone, Gong Yoo burst into laughter, saying, “I’m getting too much of a reality check. I have to overcome this, but the reality check is hitting me hard.” After finishing the shoot, he refused to monitor due to feeling embarrassed by the CF shoot, saying, “I don’t want to see it.”
When asked, “What do you want as a Christmas present?” Gong Yoo firmly replied, “Nothing,” revealing a resolute stance.
In another shooting location, Gong Yoo looked at the coffee capsule and said the line, “It feels bitter today, I should drink some coffee.” After completing monitoring and even finalizing the tumbler cut, Gong Yoo moved to the last shooting location, perfectly concluding the CF shoot.
