Fans Found Hints Of “Queen of Tears” Happy Ending, Kim Ji-won Visits Kim Soo-hyun In Prison?
“Queen of Tears” viewers, especially fans of BaekHong Couple, pointed out several hints of a happy ending for the drama
On April 22nd, tvN released on their official YouTube channel the full teaser video for “Queen Of Tears” episode 15, which will air on the 27th.
The teaser shows Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won) losing all her memories after the brain tumor surgery. Earlier, Yoon Eun-sung (Park Sung-hoon) deceived Hong Hae-in when she woke up after the surgery in Germy by claiming himself as her husband. In the meantime, Baek Hyun-woo was arrested due to murder suspicions.
As Baek Hyun-woo and Hong Hae-in were separated from each other, Yoon Eun-sung burned the notebook in which Hong Hae-in recorded her memories with Baek Hyun-woo before the surgery, saying “Now, I’ll be the person who protects you.” This scene also reveals the message containing Hong Hae-in’s affection for Baek Hyun-woo in the notebook.
Hong Hae-in couldn’t even recognize her family members when meeting them at the airport. However, Hong Hae-in confessed, “My heart… It flutters…” when she visited the pharmacy after recalling Baek Hyun-woo’s back view, giving hope that her memories to return.
At the end of the teaser, the scene of Hong Hae-in visiting Baek Hyun-woo in prison was shown, raising viewers’ expectations. Baek Hyun-woo then confesses his love, saying “We’ll meet again. I’m not going to give up and will be by your side”.
Despite the intense atmosphere in the teaser, viewers pointed out that writer Park Ji-eun left these two details as hints for Baek Hyun-woo and Hong Hae-in’s happy ending.
Previously in episode 13, Hong Hae-in hoped her first love would come true when she painted peach blossom on her nails at Yongdu-ri. Hong Hae-in believes in the saying, “If peach blossom remains on your nails until the first snow, your first love will come true”, and the teaser actually showed the peach blossom on Hong Hae-in’s nails and the first snow details. In particular, Hong Hae-in also confessed that her first love was Baek Hyun-woo before the surgery. As such, fans believe that these are signs of the two’s love in the end.
