A famous 2nd generation K-pop idol recently mentioned that the atmosphere within his fandom has changed for the better
Recently, a video featuring former TVXQ member Kim Junsu – a famous 2nd generation K-pop idol, was published on YouTube.
In the video, Kim Junsu talked about taking a trip during a break from his activities, saying, “Even when I travel, my fans don’t know about it. Of course, it’s not that I’m trying to keep it a secret.” To this, the host asked, “Do people know about your official schedules and trips?”
At this, Kim Junsu replied, “No, our fans go to great lengths to respect my personal privacy. Even at the airport, they say things like, ‘Let’s not bother Junsu, okay?'”
The male idol then continued by praising the current fandom atmosphere and comparing it to the past, where he had to deal with obsessive fans.
“I’ve gained experience, and we’ve had tough times with sasaeng fans before, so our fans fully understand our feelings about that. As a result, there’s a kind of movement among them to respect our privacy, and that atmosphere has settled among my fans”, he said.
