Following the HYBE – Min Hee Jin conflict, Kpop finds itself embroiled once more in disputes involving three members of EXO-CBX and SM Entertainment. A year after their contract dispute, EXO-CBX, consisting of Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin, recently exposed SM for contract breaches and unfair treatment. SM responded with legal action, leaving EXO fans on edge.

Amid SM’s lawsuit, Baekhyun stirred controversy with leaked photos. On June 18, the post “Baekhyun’s pool party with dancers” was shared online. The post featured photos shared by Baekhyun’s dancers, showing the idol swimming and hosting a pool party at a Bangkok hotel, Thailand.

Currently on his solo tour across Asia, “Lonsdaleite,” Baekhyun’s latest stop was Bangkok. The circulated photos were taken during his downtime after a show, but they’ve drawn criticism. Fans reproach Baekhyun for his carefree demeanor amidst ongoing controversy, which has left fans disappointed.

Earlier, Baekhyun reassured fans via Bubble. However, the dispute with SM stemmed from individual contracts. In their media statements, EXO-CBX consistently mention EXO and their fandom, drawing other members into the controversy. Despite showing solidarity with EXO, even leader Suho was unaware of the dispute between EXO-CBX and SM until it made headlines.
