BTS shines on Billboard charts with solo songs from Jungkook, Jin, Jimin and RM

BTS continues to demonstrate their strong presence on the U.S. Billboard charts through their solo activities

On June 19th, Billboard released its latest charts (dated June 22nd). Jungkook’s digital single “Never Let Go” debuted at No.97 on the main song chart “Hot 100”, marking his seventh solo entry on this chart.

This sets a new record for a K-pop solo singer, with Jungkook having the most solo songs charting on the “Hot 100”. Additionally, “Never Let Go” ranked third on the Digital Song Sales chart, 12th on the Global Excl. US chart and 20th on the Global 200 chart.

Jin’s self-composed song also made an appearance. “Super Tuna”, released on December 4th, 2021 to celebrate Jin’s birthday, re-entered the “World Digital Song Sales” chart at No.1 after 1 year and 7 months.

BTS also showed notable performance on the album charts. On the “World Albums” chart, BTS’s “Proof” ranked No.7, marking its 105th week on the chart, while Jimin’s solo album “FACE” ranked No.10, marking its 58th week. RM’s second solo album ranked No.14 on the “Top Current Album” chart and No.15 on the “Top Sales Album” chart.

On the “Global 200”, multiple BTS entries were noted. Jungkook’s “Seven” climbed to No.49 and “Standing Next To You” climbed to No.117, both rising from the previous week. Jimin’s “Like Crazy” re-entered the chart at No.194.

Besides, on the Global Excl. US chart, Jungkook’s “Seven” climbed to No.31, “Standing Next To You” to No.68 and “Like Crazy” to No.158. Jungkook’s solo single “3D” re-entered at No.193.
