Bae Da-hae “Song Hye-kyo’s face was truly like porcelain”

On April 24th, a new video was uploaded to Bae Da-hae’s YouTube channel “Da-hae Haha”.

In the video, Bae Da-hae introduced the lipstick she bought during her trip to Japan and the perfume she recently purchased for welcoming spring. She explained, “I often use this when I perform, and many people ask about it. I thought it’s not just good for me but also suitable for others to use. It has a refreshing powdery scent.”

She shared, “I was in my mid-20s at the time, and the place was Cheongdam-dong. There’s an actress whom I’ve been a huge fan of since high school, Song Hye-kyo. That moment is unforgettable. I was so, so happy. I used to frequent a café behind Apgujeong Rodeo, and she came there. Song Hye-kyo was sitting across from me at a diagonal table.”

Bae Da-hae continued, “I was admiring her beauty so much, but I was worried she might feel uncomfortable. I went to the restroom after playing. While waiting in line, she came out of the stall next to the one I was waiting in. I saw her up close. Her face was truly like porcelain. She didn’t disappoint my expectations. I couldn’t say I’m a fan. She hung out casually with others, so I felt awkward to address myself as a fan and just froze.”

She added, “When I entered the restroom, there was a beautiful fragrance in the air. ‘Wow, perfume scent!’ But it wasn’t that; there was a subtle floral fragrance. Can a person be beautiful even in the restroom? I wished I could emit such a beautiful scent, so I became more obsessed with perfumes.”
