BabyMonster Asa Gains Attention Thanks to Airport Fashion

On June 14, the members of BabyMonster were present at the Korean airport to depart for a fan meeting in Singapore. Asa’s appearance immediately caught attention. The singer stood out with her trendy Y2K fashion style, popular in the early 2000s, blending a nostalgic yet sophisticated, modern touch. In the airport photos, Asa wore a Y2K-inspired outfit featuring a fitted vest paired with flared jeans and a fishbone cap. The outfit highlighted her balanced figure and slim waist.

Asa stands at approximately 1.67 meters tall with a beautiful body ratio, long legs, and a slim waist. She is particularly loved for her well-rounded skills. As one of the group’s best rappers, Asa also excels in singing and dancing. Additionally, she contributed to composing and writing lyrics for BabyMonster’s debut song, “Batter Up.”
Asa, born in 2006, holds Japanese nationality. She has been passionate about dancing since childhood, with a focus on hip hop. Asa and Ruka are the first Japanese idols to debut in a YG Entertainment group. Asa, along with the six members of BabyMonster, gained recognition through YG’s survival show, “Last Evaluation.”
BabyMonster debuted in November 2023 with the music video “Batter Up.” However, at that time, member Ahyeon (born in 2007) faced health issues and couldn’t promote with the group. In early April, when Ahyeon returned, BabyMonster re-debuted with an album featuring seven songs: “Sheesh,” “Like That,” “Stuck in The Middle (7 Ver.),” and “Dream….” The title track “Sheesh” is described as a dance song blending hip hop with a baroque-style piano melody. However, upon release, “Sheesh” received much criticism, resulting in poor chart performance.
